DeMolay Project

DeMolay International is pleased to announce they have received a donation of $10,000 from prominent Alumnus, "Dad" Hank Stickney, to kick-off fund raising efforts to complete the Dad Land Office restoration project. Dad Stickney is a Senior DeMolay, Past Master Councilor and Chevalier of Thomas Jones Chapter in Cleveland, Ohio who later went on to serve as the Grand Master of DeMolay International in 1986-87. Dad Stickney's lead gift was presented to DeMolay International in the hopes of inspiring other Senior DeMolays and "Friends of DeMolay" to step forward and help DeMolay raise the funds necessary to complete the project by June of this year. Fund raising efforts are off to a great start with nearly 50% of the $60,000 required to complete the project pledged to date. Dad Stickney has enjoyed a successful career in the Air Force, retiring at the rank of Colonel and then entering private business. Dad Stickney attributes his successful ownership of 5 minor league baseball teams and a home health care enterprise to the leadership skills taught to him in DeMolay. He is quoted as saying "The restoration of Dad Land's office will provide the DeMolays of today and future generations with the same sense of pride and loyalty shared by over 1 million DeMolay alumni."
